Senior PHP
Developer

We are looking for a dynamic senior PHP stack developer to join our team and grow with the firm. The individual should be a critical thinker, an independent contributor and proven creative problem solver. You have to be a self-starter with a “get-it-done” attitude. An effective team collaborator, strong communicator with the ability & willingness to learn new software platforms are all crucial qualities to succeed in this role.

  • Understand and code requirements quickly and efficiently using best coding standards and practices.
  • Ensure that all code meets the highest standards of performance, functionality, security, and compatibility. Deliver a full unit tested code.
  • Eager to try to fully prove new technologies for production level integration.
  • Lead the programmers to create best-in-class object-oriented code. Lead by examples.
  • Conduct one-on-one code reviews with every programmer to discuss and improve all code produced.
  • Communicate with stakeholders and executive management to understand goals, and present recommendations.
  • 5+ years programming experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

  • Expert understanding of OOP and MVC design patterns.
  • Expert understanding of PHP, including security practices and third-party API integrations.
  • Strong understanding of MongoDB and MySQL schema design, advanced querying, indexes, triggers, and performance optimization.
  • Strong test case writing, test execution and implementation including TDD.
  • Good understanding of AWS Cloud Computing, Analytics and Search Technologies, NGNIX and Linux system administration.
  • Strong grasp with 3rd party integration and web hook functions.
  • Appreciative communicative habits to address and deal with everyday work.
  • Strong organizational skills and use of tools like Github, Jira, Confluence, Trello, Google Drive, and attention to details.
  • Strong ability to estimate efforts and working along with product and project management.
